About the Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn about virtual assistant work, including the types of tasks commonly performed, how work is structured, and what pay expectations typically look like. The session will also cover what getting started involves, the basic tools used, and how to evaluate opportunities to determine a good fit. Danielle will also share her experience and success with working as a virtual assistant and digital business manager. This workshop is informational in nature and intended to provide a realistic overview for those considering whether virtual assistant work aligns with their goals, schedule, and skills.  All attendees will receive:  ☑️an opportunity to have free one-on-one business consulting to help them get started ☑️three free months of co-working space at the Rose Street Center ☑️a list of Facebook groups and websites to find virtual jobs ☑️worksheets to figure out what skills you have to offer

Danielle Wavrin is the Director of Entrepreneurial Services at the Owatonna Area Business Development Center and a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) consultant. With more than ten years of experience working in the online and virtual space, she brings practical experience in virtual work, business operations, project management, and supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses.
